Pictures from our Trip

We're back home and it's taken me awhile to write on here because I've been busy unpacking, doing tons of laundry and cleaning the house.  I am just now getting back into the swing of things.  Here are a few pictures from our visit to Seattle.  As I've mentioned before, I am terrible at pulling out my camera and taking pictures.  I always wish that I had taken more pictures.

We went on a ride on the Light Rail.  This is the Beacon Hill station, where Checo worked as a civil engineer supervising the construction of the underground station.  My mom and brother are in the picture, but they didn't realize it when I was taking the picture.  Sorry guys- I caught you off gaurd!

Underground- the Light Rail tunnel.  This is where Checo worked for 2-1/2 years when we lived in Seattle- it sure didn't look this pretty when he worked there.

Another picture of the light rail station underground.  The funny thing is, the day I went with my mom and brother and the kids, I only took pictures of the above ground part and of us riding the light rail.  I sent the pictures to Checo and he said, "the pictures are nice, but you didn't get any of the part I worked on".  So I sent my dad one night and he took pictures for me.  Thanks Dad!

Here comes the train!

Emma peeking out of the Ergo carrier as we ride the light rail.

Samuel peering out the window on the light rail.  Good thing my mom was with us- she took all the pics.

Uncle Joel (my brother) and Emma

I know, it's bad lighting, but the picture was too cute not to post.  Samuel loved pushing his cousin Emery around in the walker.

Emma with the Couch kids (Ella, Caleb, and Eli)

We met for coffee with some friends that I used to teach with (Teresa, Anne, Courtney, Erin, Heather, Me and all the kids)

Sammy mowing the grass with Grandpa.  He loved playing outside with my dad.

Uncle Randy (my uncle, that is), Joanna (friend), and Emma

We went to the zoo one day with Lisa and Emery- Sammy is knocking on the window!

Cousins- Emery and Emma in the famous double stroller at the zoo

Sammy got a cold- doesn't he look cute when he's sick?

Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Mac with Samuel and Emma- it's the only one I have, too bad no one is looking at the camera!

Great Grandma Shirley and Grandma Tina with Emma

Great Papa (we call him "Papa", so I guess that makes him "Great Papa") and Emma

Lisa (my sister) and Emery, Laura (friend) and Kate, Me and Emma, my dad and Sammy- the night before we left.  I had tons of stuff to pack!

Dallas airport on the way home.  Sammy even took a nap in the stroller during the layover.  The trip home was so much more enjoyable than our trip there!

The pics are wonderful! I can only hope that in heaven we will have the feelings I had when I looked at them, everyday! That was my comfort and hope as I remembered these fun times! all of the fun, family and friends makes me want to do it all again, but it isn't soon enough! so that is what makes me take comfort in heaven... in heaven it will be this good everyday! right God? Joy comes in the morning! It was so fun!
