Solids

Emma is officially eating solid foods now!  We were trying to wait until she was 6 months to start the solids (as reccommended by the doctor), but we couldn't do it.  Emma was grabbing at everything we put in our mouth.  She wanted to eat so bad!  So when she was 5 months, 1 week, and 5 days, I made her some carrots.  She loved it!
She sits in Samuel's high chair to eat, which Sammy wasn't very happy about in the beginning.  It took him a couple days to get to used to it, but now he starts laughing everytime he sees her in the high chair.  We are going to buy Sammy a big boy booster seat so that he can sit at the table with us, and I'm sure he'll gladly hand the high chair over to Emma when he sees his new seat.

I'm laughing right now... I hope you know why Annie! Anyway Emma is so precious eating like a big girl! You are one step closer to eating dairy and soy again!

Thanks for the comments. I love getting them and I'm thinking that if I give everyone some "postitive reinforcement" for leaving comments, maybe I'll get more!?!

Yes, Emma is growing so fast. I can't believe that she's almost crawling now.

Joanna, I've actually been slowing adding dairy and soy back into my diet and Emma has been doing okay. I'm so glad!
