Playgroup

Every other Friday morning, we have a little playgroup here in our house.  There are 5 other moms that have kids ranging from 6 months to 2-1/2 years old and we get together to chat and the kids play together (well, mainly just the older ones).
I tried to snap a few pictures of a few of them today, but it sure was hard to try to get them all to look at the camera.

Clockwise from top let corner: Darlene (9months), Abbie (9.5 months), Amanda (6 months), and Emma (11 months)

Here's one with Sammy, but he wouldn't turn around for the picture!

Since Sammy wouldn't turn around for that picture, here is one of him.  This is sammy being nebuolized.  For those of you who haven't heard yet, he has pretty bad allergies.  Anytime the weather changes drastically (which is does here pretty often) or when the gardeners mow the grass in the park behind our house, he gets pretty wheezy and a bad cough.  So this is why we have to use the nebulizer with him.  He actually loves it because we put the Bob the Builder movie on and he just sits and watches the whole 7 minutes that he has to be hooked up to the machine!
Don't his curls look especially good here?

P.S. Today is Kid's Day here in Mexico (Dia del Nino).  You know, like Mother's Day or Father's Day...so there are all kinds of parties going on today.  Tomorrow we are going to have a party at the church to celebrate Kid's Day, so I'll be sure to post some of those pictures after the party!

Yay! Happy Kid's Day! I love your kids! Poor Sam using the neb! What a good little guy sitting still and watching Bob!

Thanks JoJo! Sammy really has come a long way with the neb (by the way, I like that short name for it, I think I'll start using it). When we first started it, it took both Checo and me- one of us would have to hold him down and the other would hold the mask up to his face. He has really come to terms with the fact that the neb is just part of his life. He even plays with it sometimes and holds it up to his face and makes the humming sound of the compressor. Emma really likes playing with it too- she loves anything Sammy does!
