Puerto Vallarta

Way back at the beginning of July we went on a vacation to Puerto Vallarta.  Checo's parents have a time share there, so we went along with them this year.  It wasn't very hot, mostly cloudy and in the 70s-80s.  I was expecting a little more heat, but we have enough of that here in Monterrey so it was a nice break.

Emma playing in the sand...of course she ate her share of it too!

Zeke (Checo's younger brother) and Emma.  Emma loved the ocean, if it was up to her, she would have been out in the waves spashing the whole day!

Some street in downtown Puerto Vallarta.  Look how the lady is balancing a tray on her head while carrying a bucket and walking.  Pretty impressive!

A scary little bridge we walked over

I know this one is kind of dark, but I love it too much to not post it.  Sammy looks like such a big boy in this one (and he's wearing his Mariner's uniform)

Yes, I know we look tired...vacations aren't very restful when you have 2 toddlers!

Sammy's first ride on a bus!  He loved every minute of it.  He had this serious look on his face for most of the time.

It was a nice vacation, but when we got home in the middle of the night (3am), we discovered that our house was full of mold.....to be continued.....

Looks like you guys had fun! Sammy and Emma are growing so fast! Blessings to you and your family and I hope the mold problem is quickly fixed.

With the mold I felt like you & I & Checo were a "Saves the Day" business! LIke the "Bob the Builder" of the mold & mildew world! It was a good topic for me w/ all of your firends... you know how we shared our mold stories! Hey does that stuff we got for mildew prevention still help?

Thank you Marie! Thankfully we are mold free now!
Mom- that moisture sucker thing works really good. It's in our bedroom (since the bathroom make it relaly moist in there) and I've already refilled the container with more little dots (they look like dippin'dots). It does all turn to liquid like you thought! It's a pretty handy invention.

I can now imagine what Sammy will look like as a 5th grader! Looks like a fun trip and Zeke was helpful with the little spunky one! That is a great pic of you and Checo.
