ABCs and Diggers

Emma is currently obsessed with the ABCs and has been for the past few months.  She loves letters!!!  As we walk to the playground, she finds letters on signs.  When I give her a cookie, she lets me knows what letters are on the package.  When we read books, she points to each letter and tells me what it is.  I guess you could say that letters are Emma's hobby.

Sammy is currently into diggers and airplanes and things that move.  He can hear an airplane before I can, and he lets me know by turning his ear to the sky and lifting his pointer finger up and saying, "Oh? Ghhhh".  (It's really hard to write the sound Sammy makes when he imitates an airplane.)  He loves loading up his dump truck ("digger" according to him) with dirt and rolling it around the yard and dumping it, only to do it over and over again.  We go for walks and he finds the diggers and dump trucks at the nearby construction sites.

Here is a picture of Sammy and Emma, totally unrelated to ABCs and diggers.

At church before the service.  We get there about 1-1/2 hours early to set everything up, so we have to find ways to keep the kids from getting into trouble.  Here is the latest: Checo lowers the keyboard and microphones and they have a blast!
