I never liked root beer. Then something changed and I started liking it. I don't remember if it was when I was pregnant with Emma or if it was before that. But that's not the point of this post. The thing is, I couldn't find root beer anywhere here. I searched the stores for root beer (along with Starbursts), but it was no where to be found.
Then one day a few weeks ago, I walked into HEB and there it was in the pop (or "soda" if you don't use the word "pop") aisle : Raíz!!! "Raíz" means "root". The word "beer" is no where to be found on this can. But it truly is root beer. It's not Thomas Kemper, but I can't be picky like that when I'm living in a different country.
Come and visit and I'll buy you some Raíz!!!
