A little of this and a little of that

Samuel eating a rolled up tortilla. He was so proud that he got to hold it all by himself. Normally when we given him food that isn't in small pieces, he will try to shove it all in his mouth at once. But today he was being very responsible, only taking small bites.


Our kitchen! It's almost all ready. Checo just needs to do some touch up painting because the guy that installed everything was pretty rough and knocked up the nicely painted walls quite a bit. We also missed a few spots- we painted before he installed everything and we tried to estimate where we wouldn't need paint, but as you can see below the vent of the oven, we need to paint a little more.


Samuel about to take a couple steps on his own! This picture was taken this morning at the church. Samuel was standing against the wall by himself and then he'd take a few steps towards Jorge, Checo's brother. Sammy was getting really excited! This is the new expression he does when he's excited and when he wants to entertain everybody. He tightens up every muscle in his body and makes a little grunting sound. It's hard to describe, we have it recorded on the video camera so when I figure out who to post video clips, I will put it on here.


7 months pregnant!




Sammy is trying out his new crib. The poor guy has been sleeping in his pack n'play for most of his baby life. We never bought a crib in Seattle, because we knew we'd be moving, so we were just waiting until we got here to buy one. We finally got one and now we're waiting to move into our house for him to use it. Until then...it's the pack n'play or our bed. He definately prefers our bed!!!



And last but not least, Sammy is happy that he has a new cousin (his first)! Emery was born on Friday at 9:29pm to Lisa (my sister) and Jorge. Sammy can't wait to play with him!
